Overview
This series tells the adventures of Joël Gaillard, known as “Jo Gaillard”, the captain of the merchant ship “La Marie-Aude” and his crew. Son and grandson of sailors, Jo Gaillard co-owns the boat with his sister and two cousins, all three of whom live near Marseille, where the offices of the SARL “La Marie-Aude” are located, of which he is also the manager. He is often involved despite himself, in various countries where he stops, in situations that escape him (conflicts, hostage-taking, settling of scores) and the adventures do not often end happily.
