Overview
When the Office for the Protection of the Constitution in the sleepy town of Niederlützel is about to be closed due to underemployment, the two officers working there, Mechthild Dombrowski and Paul Horner, are stunned. They are reluctant to exchange their peaceful and absolutely calm working life for stressful drudgery in Rostock, where, according to their superior Matthias Frings, they should now be transferred. Therefore, the duo quickly decides to invent an Islamist terrorist cell that is allegedly up to mischief in the area around Niederlützel. But what starts as a little lie to continue their relaxed existence soon spirals completely out of control...
