Overview
After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the Fourth Company Escort Team formed by the old Shandong District went to the Nanmanta River area to establish a new democratic regime. The newly promoted instructor Lin Yusheng (played by Zhu Yawen) was suddenly ambushed by the enemy while leading the team. Our team suffered heavy losses. The female team member Qiuying (played by Gan Tingting) disappeared in the battle. After a long search to no avail, she was determined to have died.
