
Fuutarou Uesugi is a poor, antisocial ace student who one day meets the rich transfer student Itsuki Nakano. They argue but when Uesugi realizes he is to be her tutor, he tries to get on better terms. While trying to do so he meets four other girls.

Fuutarou Uesugi is a second year high-school boy who managed to land a favorable part-time job to be a private tutor.The student he is supposed to teach is a new transfer student in his class named Itsuki Nakano, but unfortunately, she had a bad impression to him. Fuutarou tries to get closer to Itsuki, but he got overwhelmed by four girls around her...

After discovering that the girls' were all potential flunkers, Fuutarou Uesugi tries getting them to open up to him more, which abruptly fails before discovering that Miku Nakano (one of the Quintuplets) managed to answer the question he had asked on a recent test he had them do. After receiving a letter from the said girl, Uesugi discovers the girl's hidden love for the Sengoku period warlords.Overcoming a small problem that had arose, Miku finally accepts Useugi's offer and joins Yotsuba Nakano for his tutoring.

Fuutarou Uesugi heads to the Nakano Family's Residence once again where he meets Miku Nakano, who lets him enter. As soon as he tries to teach the four, Nino Nakano steps into the picture and makes everyone, but Miku leaves. After realizing he had left something in the apartment, he enters and soon finds himself in a compromising situation with Nino after saving her from getting hurt. Fuutarou then learns the reason about Nino's distrust towards him after a short conversation between them.

After getting paid for the very first time, Fuutarou Uesugi brings Raiha Uesugi, accompanied by Itsuki Nakano to the arcade for some fun. Later that evening, the Uesugi siblings were asked to join the Nakano Quintuplets to watch the fireworks at a festival. However, things don't go to plan as everyone gets lost. Meanwhile, Fuutarou tries to discover his relationship with the girls.

As the fireworks display was nearing its end, Ichika Nakano reveals her reasoning as to why she couldn't join her sisters to Fuutarou Uesugi. Meanwhile, Fuutarou finally realizes what his relationship between him and the Nakano Quintuplets are, partners as Ichika's true job as an actress gets revealed.

The midterms are approaching fast and Fuutarou Uesugi is feeling desperate to teach the girls so that they could get all pass their exams. However, after a small fight with Itsuki Nakano and Nino Nakano rejecting him, Fuutarou was left unsure as to how to convince them to join the study group. However things get a whole lot worse after a call with Maruo Nakano (the Nakano Quintuplets' father) who told him that if any of his daughters were to fail their exams, he would be fired.

After spending the night in the Nakano Family's Residence, Fuutarou Uesugi, Ichika Nakano and Yotsuba Nakano headed to the library, and after thinking back to his talk with Ichika causing him to head back where he discovered Itsuki Nakano sleeping. The two then made up for their previous fight as he begins teaching her.

Fuutarou, who ate too much Miku's homemade dishes had stomachaches. Itsuki and Nino just came. Fuutarou, who wants both of them to study tells Yotsuba to hold them off somehow. As a result of this, the troubled Yotsuba lied to them saying Fuutarou has a serious illness.

The field trip is finally happening starting tomorrow. The surroundings were getting hyped with the legend of the campfire in which the pair who dance at the finale moment will be bound by fate for life. Meanwhile, Miku, who was asked to substitute for Ichika, had been confessed by a guy who thought she was Ichika.

Fuutarou and the quintuplets were able to join the field trip safely. Fuutarou, who was made in charge of the test of courage, will play the ghost role with Yotsuba. Meanwhile, Nino who had paired with Itsuki and participated in the test of courage lost sight of Itsuki. What appeared in front of Nino who was left alone and anxious was...

Ichika and Futaro get locked in the storage shed. The others are concerned about their absence, but not necessarily for the same reasons.

It's the last day of camp school. Itsuki is missing. Futaro thinks he knows where to find her, but he's sick and shouldn't be wandering in the snow.

Futaro is hospitalized for a while after falling sick at camp school. He returns to work tutoring the quintuplets, only to realize someone has fallen way behind.

There's one week left to the term final. Futaro and the sisters are set on passing this time, but Nino and Miku can't seem to get along.

Nino lets a dejected Futaro into her hotel room. Futaro tells her about how he'd run into the girl he met in Kyoto five years prior.

Yotsuba is dead set on keeping up with her studies as well as her track team commitments, but she's bitten off way more than she can chew. Her sisters and Futaro do what they can to help.

Futaro quits tutoring, but the quintuplets convince him to continue. The sisters seem suspiciously eager to please him, and he can't quite figure out why.

The quintuplets will have to transfer schools if they fail the upcoming exam. With Futaro's help, they try their hardest to make it through.

All five sisters pass the exams. They hold a party to celebrate, but Nino isn't there.

Spring break. Futaro is trying to keep a distance from the sisters, but he runs into them during a family vacation at a hot spring hotel.

Ichika is on the verge of burning out, so she and her sisters decide to split the rent. Nino and Miku show up at Futaro's workplace to try to get a job there.

The quintuplets' father tries to get Futaro's classmate, Takeda, to take over as their tutor. They make a bet.

Ichika, Nino and Itsuki plot ways to make a move on Futaro during the school trip. Yotsuba is troubled by their change in attitude.

With desperation increasing, things become tense amongst the sisters as well as with Futaro. For their elective tour on the last day of the school trip, the quintuplets decide to keep things fair by leaving the outcome to luck.
