The Neo-Zeon group 'The Sleeves' travel to side 4's industrial 7 colony for a rendezvous that will let them retrieve a mysterious object known as 'Laplace's Box'. Unknown to them, Princess Mineva Lao Zabi stowed away on their ship to go to a private meeting of her own. Meanwhile Banagher, Academy student senses Mineva in distress and commandeers a mobile worker to rescue her.
Mineva is taken hostage by Daguza and Frontal rejects the demands for a cease fire.
Frontal reveals himself and requests cooperation from Banagher.
Banagher is targeted for capture by the Nahel Argama of the Earth Federation Forces.
A clue surfaces in the search for Laplace's Box at the ruins of the Laplace space station.
The remains of Laplace are located by Banagher and Daguza, who seek to reactivate Laplace's Box.
The Garencieres land in the Western Sahara after saving Banagher and the Unicorn Gundam. Elsewhere Zeon remnants launch a diversionary assault.
