Overview
Hasret, who has six children living in a town in Anatolia, has not been able to gather all of her children under one roof. His elder son Süleyman married a widow and became estranged from his family, and his elder daughter Handan entered into a marriage that her family did not want and began to raise her child away from her family. Hasret's middle daughter, Beyhan, also ran away from home with the desire to become famous. The tired mother continues to live with her little daughter Songül, who stays with her, and waits for her son Hasan, who is in the military. The revelation of Songül's love affair with Poyraz, the son of the enemy family, ignites the families' hostility. When his family tries to get Poyraz engaged to Ayşe, the fiancée of Hasret's son Hasan, who is in the military, events begin to develop one after another.
