Thirty years ago a strange phenomenon called a "spacequake" devastated the center of Eurasia, claiming the lives of at least 150 million people. Since then, smaller spacequakes plague the world on an irregular basis. Shido Itsuka, a seemingly ordinary high schooler comes across a mysterious girl at the ground zero of a spacequake and learns from his sister Kotori she is one of the "Spirits" who are the real cause of the spacequakes that occur when they manifest themselves in the world. He also learns that Kotori is the commander of the airship Fraxinus, crewed by the organization Ratatoskr, and is recruited to make use of his mysterious ability to seal the Spirits' powers thus stopping them from being a threat to mankind. However, there is a catch: to seal a Spirit's power, he must make her fall in love with him and kiss her.

Shido Itsuka is an ordinary high school student living with his little sister in Tengu City, a city that is often disrupted by "spatial quakes". During a spatial quake at the beginning of the school year, he meets a beautiful and mysterious "Spirit".

Shido practices making women fall in love with him and has another encounter with the Spirit "Princess".

To get ready for his date with Kotori, Shido goes swimsuit shopping with Tohka and Yoshino. Meanwhile, Origami finds out more about Ifrit.

The tables are turned as Kaguya and Yuzuru try to make Shido fall in love with them.

In the air, the Fraxinus is under attack while Kotori is away, and Shido and Tohka are being attacked on the ground while Kaguya and Yuzuru fight their last duel.

Shido meets Miku Izayoi, an idol also known as the Spirit, Diva, while getting ready for the joint cultural festival with other schools in Tengu City.

The Tenou Festival begins, and Shido has to cross-dress to participate in the activities as Shiori to satisfy Miku.

When the results of the first day of the Tenou Festival are announced, Miku decides she doesn`t want to play by the rules anymore.

With Kurumi`s help, Shido tries to convince Miku to join him in rescuing Tohka, and Miku has second thoughts about her stance on Shido.

Shido learns more about Miku`s past, and they go to rescue Tohka together as Mana, Origami, and the others fight the Wizards.

Shido has to find a way to deal Tohka`s inverted form as the battle outside continues. Will he be able to restore order to the city?

As Fraxinus defends against a fierce opponent, Origami stops at nothing to fulfill her wish and makes the ultimate sacrifice. Will she regret the cost to gain what she wanted?

Origami is on a mission to avenge her parents, but when she finally discovers the truth, it turns out to be much harsher than she bargained for.

On a mission to avert disaster, Shido attempts to rewrite history. Can he stop Origami's crazed rampage or are her parents doomed to die?

Shido wakes up and finds that the world around him is different. His attempt to thwart disaster may have succeeded, but for how long will it last?

Mukuro resorts to drastic measures in order to monopolize Shido's heart. To gain his full love and affection, Mukuro locks away all memories of him.

In a competition for Shido's lips, Mukuro battles against Inverse Tohka. Before long, all goes wrong and Shido must stop Mukuro from destroying the planet.

Shocked by Kurumi's appearance at school, Shido and crew try to deduce her intentions. This time, Shido's date with a Spirit is a matter of life and death.

After a lunchtime showdown, Kurumi and Shido plan to settle their competition on a special holiday. In the meantime, the Spirits help Shido prepare to face Kurumi in their own way.

As Shido rushes to the Spirits' side, Westcott blocks his path. Meanwhile, Tohka and the others find themselves overwhelmed and powerless before Mio's manifested Angel, Ein Sof Ohr.

Many spirits were exhausted by Mio's Ein Sof Ohr and collapsed. Kotori directs Fraxinus toward Mio and fires her spirit cannon, Gungnir, but...

Shido is shocked when Mio tells him that all the Spirits are dead. Stunned and unable to move, Mio nearly wipes his memories as Shido, but there is still one Spirit who's survived.

Shido returns to a time before the final battle with DEM began, when no one has died yet. In order to avoid repeating the same future, Shido asks Reine out on a date. After hearing the story from Shido, Kotori and the Spirits support their date.
