Overview
Uschi Glas is Sylvia - a courageous teacher with a fighting spirit, heart and mind. The teacher Sylvia Waldmann starts her job at a Munich high school. It is a new beginning for her both professionally and personally. The very first day of school becomes a tough test: her class is considered a problem case - Sylvia's predecessor became desperate because of the hostility of the rascals and had to leave school. Sylvia suspects that the students will make life difficult for her too. The talented Liz in particular is on a collision course with “the new one”. New teachers also enrich the staff, including the young and attractive Ralf Schmidt. It is particularly well received by the students and inadvertently causes a lot of controversy. The tough Sylvia faces the conflicts of her everyday life. Little by little, with courage and commitment, she asserts herself against her pubescent students, colleagues and all of life's adversities.
