Overview
Gerasimos Madouvalos is a successful plastic surgeon and partner in the "Opsi" clinic. Collaborating with him is the also successful doctor and his friend from student years, Lydia, who only deals with pathological cases and research, while often taking on patients on a non-profit basis. The third partner in "Opsi" is Gerasimos' childhood friend, Thrasyvoulos, an anesthesiologist. Gerasimos is celibate by conviction and says that "while we are young we should party". He behaves like an eternal teenager and relates only to little girls, despite Thrasybulos' ceaseless attempts to reason with him. Lydia, on the other hand, is also single, with some minimal ties in the past, always unsuccessful, due to her peculiar character. She is, in two words, a mad scientist. She has a close friend, Hero, divorced, with a grown son and a big crush on her ex-husband, who is constantly trying to pair Lydia with someone.
