Although Wanyu (played by Zhao Ji) and Zhanbo (played by Jin Shijia) who traveled around the world were missing from the apartment, as well as Meijia (played by Li Jinming) who left without saying goodbye. But three new members have welcomed into the bustling family: Ziqiao (played by Sun Yizhou)'s aunt Tang Youyou (played by Deng Jiajia), an extra who often performs in operas; Yifei (played by Lou Yixiao)'s high school classmate Qin Yumo (played by Zhao Wenqi), a white-collar office worker in a cosmetics company; and the young Zhang Wei (played by Zhang Wei), an unreliable trainee lawyer. And none of them are "fuel-efficient lamps", which makes the already troubled apartment set off one new turmoil after another... Will Xiaoxian (played by Chen He)'s career in the radio station improve, and where will his ambiguous relationship with Yifei go? Will Zi Qiao continue to have smooth sailing in her career of picking up girls? And Guan Gu (played by Wang Chuanjun) seems to have a different liking for the quirky Tang Youyou.
