Overview
In the past, the beautiful Maria Alice, a teacher in the small town of Roseira, became a widow and some men decided to harass her. Rejected, they began to defame the girl in front of the residents. The main culprits were Professor Durval and Doctor Bonfim. Maria Alice did not accept the harassment and their revenge was to incite the population to expel her from the city. When she was leaving Roseira with her young daughter Juliana, Maria Alice received a stone and was left blind in one eye.
