Overview
Aritana is a strong and sensitive boy who lives in Xingu, the son of a white man and an indigenous woman. His uncle, the rich farmer Nhonhô, does not want to share his inheritance with him: the land he intends to negotiate with an American group. Elderly, practically deaf, Nhonhô does not see the opportunism of Yara, much younger than him, who entangles him in an engagement, dreaming of getting some benefit from the relationship.
