Overview
In 1940, Januário is a merchant who drops everything to become a vigilante and take revenge on Zé Touro, a dangerous bandit who murdered his fiancee on their wedding day and terrorizes the interior of Minas Gerais. Upon arriving in the city of Rosário, Januário comes into conflict with Sheriff Tião and police chief Gomes for being more effective in capturing local outlaws, in addition to getting involved with the beautiful Zilda, whose parents are against it because they want her to marry the rich Rodrigo and her sister Paula is a devilish woman who also desires justice. Meanwhile, Zé Touro continues his journey as an outlaw, being married to Maria Santa, who thinks he is a traveling salesman. In the end, the woman murders Zé Touro when she discovers that he is having an affair with the courtesan Cosette.
