Overview
Chico Anysio Show was a Brazilian television program created by comedian Chico Anysio, first produced by TV Rio and directed by Chico himself and Geraldo Thomé from 1960, where it was shown until 1964, with famous people such as the fanho barman "Qüem-Qüem", "Dr. Alfacinha", "Urubolino", "Coronel Limoeiro" and others. It was the first humorous program on Brazilian television to use videotape, back in 1960, allowing Chico Anysio to act opposite himself, when he played more than one character. The videotape feature, far from current computer graphics technology, involved a character appearing alongside a stunt double, in one shot, while, in another shot, the other character appeared, while the previous one was represented by the stunt double.
