"Dark Tales II" (English: Dark Tales II) is a costume drama series on Hong Kong TVB Jade Channel. It was first broadcast on March 9, 1998. It is divided into eight units and has a total of 40 episodes. It is produced by Liu Shiyu. It was only broadcast in Mandarin in mainland China in 2004. Later, in 2010 and 2011, Jade Channel rebroadcast some units of the show. The series is divided into eight strange and touching stories about humans, ghosts and fox fairies, depicting the vagaries of the world, including: "The Fairy of Green", which depicts the world's vowed love that cannot withstand the test; "Phantom Fox", which tells the story of the battle between foxes and ghosts, and the difficulty of distinguishing between good and evil; and "Lu Pianqi", who warns the world that being ordinary is a blessing. "Tan"; "Flowers Drunk in the Red Dust", which explains the love between humans and immortals and their inseparability; "A Mistake of Yin and Yang", which introduces the good intentions that are rewarded; "The Ghost Mother and the Idiot", which describes the kindness of mothers and filial piety, ethical family love; "The Demon-Slaying Sword", which implies that arrogant soldiers will be defeated; and "The Pursuit of Love in Another Life", which savors romantic love, etc.
