Overview
The story takes place in the ancient capital Beijing in the 1990s. With the rapid development of the economy, there are many high-rise buildings in the city. Many ancient courtyard houses have been demolished and replaced by high-rise buildings made of reinforced concrete. The "Longtang" martial arts gym built in the early years of the Republic of China also faced the same fate. Du Hai (played by Liu Long) and Du Zhong (played by Zhang Fengyi), who guard the courtyard alone, want to take the opportunity to negotiate terms with the developer and invite the old owners of Longtang from all over the world to return to Longtang to reminisce about the past.
