Overview
"Tianhe Bureau" is set in Yunnan, China's borderland in the mid-19th century. Through three major historical events: the "Magali Incident", the "Sino-French War" and the "construction of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway", it describes the fierce conflict between the two families, the Min family who adheres to tradition and the Zhu family who is pragmatic. In the end, they put national justice first and bought back the rights to the "Yunnan-Vietnam Railway" from the French, thus giving our country the first international railway.
