Malcolm tries to retrieve his belongings that Davina had left in the loft when she sold the old family home, but the new owners refuse to let him in. Derek hatches a plan for Malcolm to break into the house and retrieve his stuff.
Malcolm and Derek throw Gemma a baby shower. Derek surprises Malcolm with an escape room for his birthday, where they are kidnapped off the street. Xander discovers Gemma in labour. Unable to reach Malcolm, and with no one else available to be her birthing partner, Xander steps in. Malcolm and Derek struggle to escape the extremely complicated escape room.
