Exactly twenty years ago, Anna’s father, while still a novice businessman, through fraud took away the hotel from Sergei’s father and deprived him of his business, fortune and meaning in life. Sergei, seven years old, quite by accident witnessed this humiliation and in all subsequent years he cherished only one dream: to take revenge. Sergei decides to deal a fatal blow to Anna’s father, realizing that he can only do this through his beloved, only daughter. But it's not that simple. Having fallen in love with Anna, Sergei himself falls in love with her, and now he is faced with a difficult choice: to go to the end in his intentions to take revenge or choose Anna’s love and retreat.
