
My Mum, Your Dad follows nominated single parents, from all over the UK, and from all walks of life, as they live together at a stunning country house with one objective: to find true love. Get the tissues at the ready as we witness the highs and the lows, the tears and the funny moments, of finding love again.

The nervous parents are dropped-off at the doors of the retreat by their kids, who all meet at the 'Bunker', where Davina reveals that they will be watching their parents' every move from a surveillance room. Here they must secretly guide them on their path to finding love, under the guise of dating experts.

Davina heads into the retreat to see how the grown-ups are getting on. Some of the parents open up to her about their past relationships, and Davina has to console Monique who wonders if she'll ever find love. Later, the children get to make their first dating decision.

Davina enters the retreat to check in on the parents and see who wants to continue with their connections, or whether it's time to leave the retreat and be reunited with their kids.
In the final episode of the series, the romance is dialled up for the final dates outside of the retreat before the kids are reunited with their parents and their potential new partner, in order to ask their pressing questions. Fresh from these reunions the kids have one last big decision to make when giving their blessing on their new relationships. Will the kids approve of their new found love, or are some obstacles too big to overcome?
