
Han Dong-soo, a livelihood lawyer who gets a case by recklessly asking for a visit from an inmate who is not familiar with the situation. He receives a dubious offer from gangster Seo Do-young, who was once a promising baseball prospect, to follow a woman. A single derailment that he thought was the first and last. Because of that choice, Dong-soo is cornered and caught in a trap set by a gangster, Do-young, and becomes the designer of an internet gambling site. Dong-soo, a lawyer who was despised and treated coldly as the lowest class in the legal profession, discovers his unexpected talent in the world of crime and begins to awaken to his hidden desires. And colluding with Do-young, they continue their dangerous and strange friendship.

Dong-soo returns home to find his wife soaking her hands in a basin filled with ice. He visits the unique inmate after Beom-jae is introduced.

Dong-soo and Beom-jae start following Park Jae-yi, on Do-young's orders. They met an unexpected figure after breaking into his house.

Dong-soo makes a surprising proposal to Do-young, in a desperate attempt to save Beom-jae.

Dong-soo is furious after learning that his wife has been sued by the manager. Do-young tries to lure Dong-soo into a partnership.

Dong-soo agrees to work with Do-young to set up a new business, on the condition that Do-young releases him after the job is done.
