Teenage Lau struggles with societal expectations of masculinity until a chance encounter with the fearless Aksel challenges his perceptions.
Lau is going on the provincial town's traditional Men's Tour for all the boys who have finished ninth grade. Lau has dreaded the trip for a long time, but suddenly he meets the new boy, Aksel, from Copenhagen.
The man tour is in full swing, and Lau struggles to fit in and cope with the challenges. Lau begins to approach the new boy Aksel, but meanwhile the pressure increases from the popular soccer boy William.
After the humiliation, Lau distances himself from Aksel. He tries to join the night club in the forest so he can become "one of the boys". But it is not easy to pretend to be someone you are not.
Lau feels exposed and alone. William wants to teach Aksel a lesson for gossiping and persuades Lau to join. It must happen on the last challenge of the men's tour: the big night race.
