Overview
Herman de Vlieger is a public prosecutor and father of two daughters, Susanna and Julia. After his divorce, he gets into a relationship with the young psychiatrist Wessel van Ede. When both men start living together, irritations arise over sometimes trivial matters. Living together clearly takes some getting used to. Especially when Herman's daughters start doing their part and see Wessel as a kind of substitute mother. Julia de Vlieger is training as a prosecutor and comes to work at her father's office. She has been living with her sister Susanna, who is an artist, for so long. In the various episodes, law and delusion come close together. Wessel has to deal with suicide attempts, rapes and patients with various abnormalities. He regularly encounters Herman in his capacity as a psychiatrist, who, unlike Wessel, is not allowed to cure, but has to accuse.
