Overview
The play tells the story of contemporary Wenzhou people working hard to start a business in Paris, France. The young student Gao Xiaofeng worked in a Wenzhou restaurant in France, doing a work-study program. With hard work and wisdom, he finally won his career and achievements in France. The French girl Silena, who is passionately in love with Gao Xiaofeng, suffers from uremia. Wenzhou restaurant owner An Lan and Gao Xiaofeng, as well as many Chinese people in France, are trying their best to find a kidney source for her. An Lan's son Lu Zihao pursues Wan Xiaolou, the daughter of entrepreneur Wan Zhenguo, while Wan Xiaolou admires Chen Mofei, the opera director who already has a French wife. In the end, it led to the middle-aged love between Wan Zhenguo and An Lan, who had lived alone for many years. Li Zhongjian, a pioneer in the lighter industry, united with many entrepreneurs in France to actively respond to the "EU anti-dumping" lawsuit and ultimately won.
