In 1982 Rai Tre proposed a cycle of events, which would continue for several seasons, innovative for the time: these were short films dedicated to comic and brilliant actors on the Italian scene, often directed by famous directors, such as Pupi Avati, Carlo Vanzina or Pier Francesco Pingitore. Thanks to the care of Enzo Marchetti, the series Che fai…ridi? offers a varied cross-section of characters and stories, between the surreal and the comical. There are many protagonists, from Monica Vitti to Bombolo, from Diego Abatantuono to Jerry Calà.
