She has stood him up as revenge.Paul finds out about the loan, intercepts Moira before she leaves, and they find Donald. In the end, they part as friends, all scores settled.Meanwhile, Chester tries to woo Isobel with business propositions. Paul offers her a choice: either a small scale project with her, or Chester's more ambitious plans. It comes down to the clay pigeon shoot. Golly, representing Paul, defeats Chester's Olympic champion friend and Isobel chooses to work with Paul.

Viktor Zinchenko, a potential investor, comes to test the facilities with his ultra-demanding wife Catriona.After a bad start, Viktor and Catriona have a great time. Viktor reveals that he won't invest in the hotel but he will buy it as a gift for his wife. She is unimpressed and Paul is furious.Later, their pet panther Yuri escapes and Paul saves Catriona from certain death. Viktor is inspired by Paul's courage and changes his mind over buying the houseMeanwhile, when Iona dresses up as Lady of the Manor for the formal dinner, Paul realises he is falling in love with her .
