Gabrielle and Me Lafleur clash in court over Julio's release. Fearful of falling back into the anorexia of her youth due to the possible release of her father, Gabrielle sees Dr. Windbourne again who had treated her at the time. Officer Harel takes care of Noémie Cloutier, a young victim of an attack of rare violence. Christophe makes Hervé understand that he will have to demonstrate total transparency if he hopes to regain his freedom and see his daughter again.

Still traumatized by the photos he saw at his mother's house, Patrick asks Roxanne to resign and not to speak to Christophe under any circumstances. Agent Harel is lost in conjectures about Clémence's behavior. Réginald, Yoan's father, tells Christophe that he does not want to receive the latter because his wife, who is in fragile health, could not bear him. Christophe tries to find a compromise solution. Gauthier is furious to see that Officer Painchaud is still at reception. He proceeds to question Clémence and her partner Arthur.
Olivier's trial is ongoing. Agent Harel testifies there as does Jacinthe, who sold her instruments of torture. Although she testifies by video in another room, it is a very painful experience for Noémie. Christophe confronts Michelle with information he received about her. He meets Arthur, Clémence's partner, to get him to talk about his relationship with her. Hervé learns that his appearance for parole has been brought forward. He asks Christophe to include him on the list of people he wants to see there.
Officer Harel asks Christophe to meet Noémie to try to encourage him. She informs Clémence of the comments that her partner, Arthur, made about her. Gauthier can finally question Amada, who is getting better. Michelle meets Nicolas Caron, who has just been released after serving his sentence for the manslaughter of his partner. Gabrielle notices that Gauthier is showing major signs of fatigue.
Michelle encourages Amada to file a complaint about the abuse she suffered. Christophe goes to find Yoan in prison. He has good news for him. Nicolas would like the Center to speed up the processing of his file so that he can regain custody of his daughter. Michelle is upset when reading the press kit relating to the latter's crime which brings painful memories to the surface. Christophe elicits new confidences from Hervé as the latter's hearing approaches.
While Maxim warns Gabrielle of the shock she will feel by attending Hervé's hearing, Philippe shows her the statement he prepared for the occasion. Hervé first wants to see Christophe again who does not hesitate to tell him his four truths. Michelle and Christophe see Nicolas again. He shares this interview with Jessica who tries to help him regain custody of his daughter. Roxanne begins to discover a face of Patrick that she did not know. Gabrielle is surprised to see Christophe at Hervé's hearing where he is called to testify.
Christophe is surprised by a call from Gabrielle, who asks him to come see her as quickly as possible. Laurent Lenoir, whose partner, Annie Briand, is bedridden by a degenerative illness, receives a visit from a nurse who offers her help. At the station, Patrick, who appears stupid to everyone around him, is ordered to change his attitude as soon as possible by his commander.
Obsessed with the idea that her father is tracking her and fearing that she is going crazy, Gabrielle returns to consult Dr. Windborne. She also tries to convince Stéphane that Maxime will assume his defense. Michèle and Christophe have their first meeting with men who are violent towards their children. Annie tells her sister, Christine, that she is afraid of Laurent.
Gaston calls 911 because his son appears to have drowned in his bath. The first responders manage to save him, but at the hospital they see that this child has been mistreated since birth. Gauthier questions Gaston then Marthe Legault, the neighbor across the street who had made a report to the DPJ. Laura still maintains that Gaston is a good father. Gauthier forwards the file to Gabrielle who files charges against him. Rafael pays a surprise visit to Christophe. Michelle asks him if he is not her son.
Gauthier questions Bernadette, Laura's mother. He also takes frustrating steps with the Youth Protection Department (DPJ). Annie sends an SOS to the Violence Prevention Center. Christophe tells Michelle to forward the call to the police. Gauthier and Gabrielle wonder if we shouldn't co-accuse Laura if she continues to come to Gaston's defense. Anne tries to convince Stéphane to take action with Christophe
Xavier ends up in the hospital following a scuffle at home. Gauthier questions Patricia and Tom, who explain to him how things were going in the family, then his younger brother, Clément. Laura sinks deeper and deeper into her blindness towards Gaston. Gabrielle informs her of the dangers she runs if she continues to turn a blind eye to her partner's violence. Gauthier and Officer Harel fraternize after work. Stéphane asks to see Gauthier urgently. Christophe and Gabrielle have another emotionally charged conversation.

He is called upon to defend Nora, the non-binary student who finds herself facing justice for beating the fellow student who has been harassing her for months. Christophe goes to the hospital to see Xavier, who is gradually recovering. Hervé learns bad news. Determined to help Léane, her bullied student, Juliette, the physical education teacher, made an appointment with Christophe in the hope of having the support and advice of a specialist. In the center, Marc is falling in love with Michelle.
Gaston's trial begins. Gabrielle calls Bernadette, Laura's mother, as her first witness. Next comes Agent Harel and Laura herself. Officer Harel goes to Nora and Fé's class to ask anyone who witnessed their altercation to contact the police.
