Overview
After going through the war, the Cultural Revolution, and the reform and opening up, the construction of the army is also facing a transformation. In 1978, the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to focus its work on economic construction, and a special operations force was assigned to the special economic zone at the forefront of reform. Facing a new environment and the wave of reform, this special force has gone through many setbacks and tribulations from its establishment, growth and expansion. They have undergone many major events such as border rotation training, million-million-strong disarmament, the road to elite soldiers, special economic zone development and construction, and preparations for entering Hong Kong. They describe the development of our country's military as our country's economy develops. Among them, Qin Zixiong, Zhang Dajun, Murong Qiu and Wen Yong are represented, reflecting the attitude of contemporary soldiers towards career, life and love.
