Overview
The spy drama "Two Heroes" tells the story of patriotic young men Xu Niandong and Gu Liming during the Anti-Japanese War. When the Battle of Songhu started in 1937, the French Concession in Shanghai was still singing and dancing amid the roar of artillery fire. The progressive young man Xu Niandong (Lian Yiming) came to Shanghai to join his life and death friend Gu Liming (Lin Baoyi), and at the same time carried out the mission of assassinating the traitor Cao Zhenwu on the ship. Seeing that the assassination was successful, their plan was disrupted by the unexpected intervention of young female student Lin Zaiyun. The two were involved in various struggles between multiple forces, and their lives took a huge turn. Finally, under the correct guidance of the CCP organization, Xu Niandong and Lin Zaiyun organized a riot and defected to the New Fourth Army with arms and medicine exchanged for gold.
