Overview
The story takes place in a year of important historical significance-1949. That year, the Chinese Communist Party used the slogan of liberating the whole of China to launch a devastating campaign against the exhausted Kuomintang. The Kuomintang, on the other hand, showed its fangs and launched a crazy and bloody counterattack. In Jiangdu, an important place in the south, the enemy and we are fighting overtly and covertly, with blood splattering everywhere. The Kuomintang tried to advance the "Sky Fire" plan to block the Communist army from crossing the river. The seemingly cynical young master Ye Sheng (played by Liu Jun) is actually an underground member of our party. He has great skills and eyes, and even has connections with senior officials of the Kuomintang. During this period, a mysterious man named Deng Kai (played by Yu Zhen) appeared in Jiangdu. He is both a Kuomintang official and an underground member of the Chinese Communist Party. Ye Sheng and Chen Ru (played by Yan Danchen), the leader of the special intelligence team, are both on guard against this person. And Deng Kai’s confusing identity is also related to the direction of the war.
