The Munsters is just your typical American family of Monsters. Herman works for an undertaker. Lily is a homemaker. The Parents of Marilyn's boyfriend are having a costume party and the Munsters are invited to the party so his parents can meet them. Grandpa throws a fit to get invited and tags along.
Grandpa creates a love potion for Marilyn because her boyfriends keep running away. When his attempt to give the potion to Marilyn backfires, Lily and Herman inavertently find themselves the unwilling targets of amorous advances made by their nosy neighbors.
