Overview
This drama tells the story of the land of Taiwan and the personnel changes of three generations since the Japanese colonial period. Chen Xinjie, a brave girl who went to the UK to study horticulture and always had hope and enthusiasm for life; Guo Minfeng, a botany graduate student who cared about ecological conservation but had an unruly, lonely and indifferent personality; Ma Zhiqiang, an aboriginal young man who wanted to improve the lives of his people; Jiang Shuishu, who was physically disabled but mentally healthier than anyone else; and Guo Quanxi, a figure from the previous generation who pursued ideals and did not hesitate to confront the government, intertwined into a touching story across the ages.
