After the "August 13th Incident", the Japanese army completely captured Shanghai, and the concession area became an isolated island outside of the war. The Falcon Assassination Team, a secret organization whose mission is to fight against traitors, came into being. Headed by Yan Shuangying (played by Zhang Zijian), they haunted the Japanese and puppets, trying their best to prevent the Japanese aggressors from plundering our wealth. The Japanese army sent a special envoy Imai Takeo (played by Yasuyuki Hirata) from Tokyo in an attempt to use counterfeit banknotes to purchase China's gold. Yan Shuangying got through to the mayor (played by Liang Guanhua) and used the mouth of his daughter Zhang Yuexin (played by Yuan Ran) to set up a trap with Zheng Yashu (played by Wang Zixuan) and Lin Xiaojiang (played by Liu Yajin). He pretended to be the prince of Japan and secretly hijacked the gold that Takeo Imai had worked so hard to obtain, while blaming the responsibility on the gangster organization on the Bund. Takeo Imai became angry and sent Zhang Yuexin to infiltrate the assassination organization, killing them all by cooperating with both internal and external forces. Unexpectedly, Zhang Yuexin has a secret love for Yan Shuangying, a suave and cold-faced killer. This is something Imai Takeo never dreamed of...
