Overview
"Public Security Chief" is an anti-gang drama directed by Zhang Guoqing and starring Chen Baoguo, Liu Yunlong, Yang Meng, Song Chunli, Liu Jie and others. The play tells the story of the new police chief of Jiangchuan City who took over the post of his friend Gong Ping who had become a prisoner. However, a series of events that followed plunged him into a "black quagmire" and launched a life-and-death battle with underworld elements. The drama was launched on June 26, 2003 on the STV News Channel.
