Overview
Giovanni and Chiara have been together for years. Their relationship is now worn out but it seems that only she notices it. Chiara wants more and has decided to leave her husband with a letter, which she writes and rewrites but then decides to throw away. He then packs his bags and leaves home. Unaware of everything, Giovanni is preparing a surprise birthday party for her: that very day, in fact, Chiara turns 40. While waiting for the birthday girl, the letter is accidentally found inside a basket. Poor Giovanni thus learns his wife's intentions and, feeling alone and abandoned, begins to think about what went wrong in his life, but above all how to get his wife back.
