Overview
The main character of the series is operative Larisa Voitovich, whose fiancé Yegor Raevsky five years ago succumbed to the charms of her friend, and died tragically a few days later. Having barely coped with the loss, she tries to start life from scratch, but suddenly, like a bolt from the blue, her old friend Yulia Sokolova reappears on the horizon. She begs Larisa to forget old grievances and become partners, but Voitovich has a hard time overcoming her hostility. Meanwhile, the case of Yegor's death takes an unexpected turn...
