Tencent Video’s self-made documentary takes Japan as the destination of the cultural tour in the first season. A total of eight episodes cover cultural phenomena and lifestyles, from eight perspectives: food, drink, architecture, design, two dimensions, career, emotions, and free travel. Three guests, Chen Li (musician), Nishikawa (poet), and Xia Yu (actor), bring three books in each episode to different places to touch the real Japan, solve their own confusions, and explore their own answers. At the same time, it stimulates the audience's desire for reading and travel, leading the audience to empathize, broaden their horizons, and re-understand themselves, the purpose of travel and the meaning of reading.
