The adventurer Vassilis Mavridis accepts an unusual proposal: to take the place of a man who is supposed to be hospitalized in a neurological clinic in Switzerland and whom he looks remarkably like! Mavridis suspects that this man may have been murdered. In the villa he settles in, lives the beautiful and mysterious wife of his savior, Dora, for whom he begins to feel an irresistible attraction.
