
A young girl's uncle gives her a coin with the power to grant wishes.
Harmony and Melody are living with their Aunt Glenda on a canal barge, uncomfortably close toGrobbler, a scrap metal merchant, and his revolting son Gus. Harmony discovers Dino, a cheeky young tearabout, secretly living in the hold. Dino has found Harmony's magic 50p coin but she refuses to believe that it is able to grant her wishes.
Gregory and Harmony set up a garden centre together but the plants wither and Harmony decides touse the magic coin to make them grow. Soon the plants are monstrous singing creatures and the garden centre is transformed into a theme park. Dino discovers that Gus wants to kill Puddle so, courtesy of the Queen's Nose, he is soon covered in warts.
Puddle turns out to be the coin thief. Aunt Glenda is convinced that Dino is a boy, and Harmony discovers a talent for pet therapy and decides to set up a centre. Melody is annoyed that Gregory no longer fancies her, while Dino is annoyed at having to work hard.
Gus threatens to blow up the garden centre when Melody rejects his advances. Rod, a fashionphotographer, wants to photograph Melody who practises for her photo shoot by making up Gregory. But the makeover has some unexpected consequences.
Harmony and Dino are brought closer together when they discover they are cousins.
Dino tells Harmony about Block, a shady Fagin type who used her as an artful dodger.
Mr and Mrs Parker return from Australia to set up a foster home, and when one of the foster children gets hold of the coin, the Queen'sNose begins to influence the household in unpredictable ways. In this edition, an overworked Arthur gets more than he bargained for when he wishes that he could be in more than one place at a time. Fortunately, Harmony is on hand to explain the significance of the coin to Sam.
The Parker family are busy preparing for Harmony's going-away party. Sam longs to find her real mother, and is hopeful that the Queen'sNose will be able to help her. Pansy, however, has other plans for the coin, wishing for an endless supply of ice cream - with very messy results.
Jordan accidentally puts on Sam's coat - with the Queen's Nose in its pocket. Bored and cross, Jordan wishes that life could be more like television - and before long, everybody is talking and behaving like characters from a television programme.
In an attempt to catch the eye of Sean, the hunky lifeguard at the local swimming baths, Melody agrees to take part in a charity fashion show. Sam grants Jordan and Pansy one wish each, but things go horribly wrong.

Arthur organises a treasure hunt to cheer everyone up. When Nick wishes for real treasure, he finds himself pursued by a pirate. Pansy wishes for everyone in the world to disappear - and is left on her own. Arthur and Audrey find an abandoned baby, which they decide to keep.
Sophie manages to conjure up a magical barn, which appears to be haunted by the ghosts of highwaymen. Pansy hides Jordan in the woods, and Nick threatens to tell. Melody loses baby Treasure, but she is soon found in an abandoned bus, which the Parkers set about turning into a new home.
A surprise picnic is organised for Sam's birthday. Simon, son of Sir Cedric Barkhouse, is smitten with Melody. Sam wishes that the day would never end, and it starts to repeat itself. She comes to the conclusion that Nick may have started the fire.
When Sam's wish to hear other people's thoughts comes true, she realises that Simon is only marrying for money. Sam enlists the help of Gregory, Melody's ex-boyfriend, to try to do something.
The Parkers are housed temporarily in the church hall and are facing separation. Nick is determined to prove that he was not responsible for the fire, and makes a wish to be transported back in time, intending to record the disaster with a video camera.
Sam uses the Queen's Nose to improve a run-down ghost train at the local fun fair - with disastrous consequences. Meanwhile, Gregory and Melody find themselves looking after the boy from next door when his father is taken away by the police. Gregory is still trying to come up with the ultimate invention, and Melody's is about to launch her music career.
The girls decide to advertise themselves as a help agency to the local community to keep themselves busy.
Following Gregory's on-set antics, Melody's video is a disaster.
Despite Melody's musical success there is still not a lot of money to go around, so Sophie decides to wish for lots of money.
Melody prepares for her appearance on Top of the Pops. The Helping Hands agency has some grotty jobs lined up for the girls. And Jack's search for the money does not go according to plan.
