In the middle of the Ming Dynasty, the eunuchs were causing chaos, Japanese pirates were invading, and the people were in dire straits. Yang Shu, a lay disciple of Shaolin, became sworn brothers with Ma Qianqiu, the Jinyiwei general, and Zhu Chenjun, the prince's son, and together they fought against the eunuch "Nine Thousand Years Old" who had done many evil things. The three of them worked together, and after several life and death situations, they finally used wisdom and force to bring down the arrogant "Nine Thousand Years Old" and restore order in the government and the opposition. Later, Yang Shu and a group of Shaolin monk soldiers accompanied the army south to fight against the Japanese pirates. Yang Shu was brave and resourceful, and thwarted several of the Japanese pirates' schemes. However, driven by his ambition to usurp the throne, his sworn brother Zhu Chenjun colluded with Japanese pirates and betrayed the country. Yang Shu and Ma Qianqiu experienced the pain of being used to hunt each other down, and finally figured out the truth. The brothers joined forces to stop Zhu Chenjun and the Japanese pirates' conspiracy. Yang Shu was appointed General Jinghai, won a great victory against the Japanese, revitalized the reputation of coastal defense, and protected the peace of the people.
