The crime series taking place in Ostrava and the surrounding area will present criminal investigator Magda Mala and her new partner Martin Černý. Together they investigate criminal cases from unusual places, strong story lines will also follow the personal lives of the investigators. Magda has to combine the time and psychologically demanding work of a police officer with taking care of her family and little daughter. Martin came to Ostrava in order not to lose contact with his teenage son, who moved to a new residence with his mother, Martin's now ex-wife. The initial small rivalry between Magda and Martin gradually grows into mutual sympathy and respect. But both of them have no idea that Magda has been being followed for some time by the recently released prisoner Hrbek, who is implementing an ingenious plan to take revenge on her for his earlier capture.
