Overview
"Come Champion" is an inspirational competitive sports program launched by Zhejiang Satellite TV. Each episode of the program focuses on one sport, inviting champion athletes of that sport to engage in subversive real-life sports confrontations with celebrity guests. "Come Champion" includes: "Come Champion Season 1" and "Come Champion Season 2". The first season, with He Jiong as the referee, Chen Huan as the host, Yao Ming as the sports consultant, Jia Nailiang and Chen Jiahua as the fixed captains, premiered on Zhejiang Satellite TV every Sunday night from April 3, 2016, and was overlayed with "Who is the Great Singer", and ended on June 19, 2016. On February 20, 2017, program producer Yu Hangying won the "Top Ten Column Producer" award at the 11th National Television Production Industry Top Ten Commendation Conference; in December of the same year, she won the "Ingenuity Production Team of the Year" at the China Variety Show Summit Ingenuity Ceremony. The second season, with He Jiong as the referee, Chen Huan as the host, Jia Nailiang and Song Qian as the fixed captains, will premiere on Zhejiang Satellite TV every Sunday at 22:00 starting from May 7, 2017, and will end on July 23, 2017.
