Biographie

Ranjith Balakrishnan est un réalisateur, scénariste, producteur et acteur indien connu pour son travail dans le cinéma malayalam. Il est populaire pour les films Raavanaprabhu (2001), Thirakkatha (2008), Paleri Manikyam (2009), Pranchiyettan & the Saint (2010), Indian Rupee (2011) et Spirit (2012). En 2001, Ranjith a fait ses débuts en tant que réalisateur avec Ravanaprabhu, une suite de Devaasuram. Ses projets de réalisation Thirakkatha et Indian Rupee ont remporté le National Film Award du meilleur long métrage en malayalam en 2008 et 2011 respectivement.
