Tsao Yuan-Feng

Biography

Tsao Yuan-Feng (Chinese: 曹源峰) is a Taiwanese sound designer. Born in 1969 in Taipei, he graduated from the Department of Motion Picture of the National Taiwan Junior College of Arts, the predecessor of the National Taiwan University of Arts in 1992. Tsao used to work in the recording studio and served as the director of the C.M.P.C. Studio as well as vice president of the Deparment of Digital Audio and Video in Syntrend. In 2004, he won the Golden Horse Award for best sound effects with "The Passage (經過)." In addition, Tsao also engages in film education to cultivate talented film technicians. He has dedicated himself to the film industry for more two decades.
