Dr. Ridgeon was knighted for discovering a cure for tuberculosis. Colleagues congratulate him. The charming lady Jennifer comes to him with a request to heal her husband, a talented painter. The problem is that on the one hand the doctor falls in love with the woman and on the other hand he can only treat a certain number of people, and if he included a man in the treatment program, he would have to exclude someone.
