Overview
The remote Shuangfeng Town is a barbaric place where banditry is rampant. Zhu Ding (played by Wu Yue), known as the Beautiful Beard Gong, was demoted to this very dangerous place as a servant because he disobeyed the magistrate of Yuncheng. Unexpectedly, it wasn't long before Zhu Ding's old friend Lei Heng (played by Chiao Enjun) also followed him. Zhu Ding was dissatisfied that Lei Heng had taken over his position and became a confidant of the county magistrate. Especially the purpose of Lei Heng's trip was to supervise whether Zhu Ding had any evidence of collusion with Liangshan. Therefore, the friendship between the two heroes no longer existed and they often quarreled. However, Bai Xiuying (played by Xiao Qiang), a beautiful local woman from Huamanlou, committed herself to the two of them one after another, which intensified their contradictions. Because of Lei Heng's ulterior motives, Liangshan's army suppressed the situation, and the fate of Lei Heng and Zhu Ding was about to change...
