Overview
The protagonist of the movie "Village Official Pufaxing" is based on a real "Village Official Hero" in Yunnan ethnic areas. Pufaxing is a Communist Party member loved by the people. He has been down-to-earth and hard-working for 20 years. What is particularly worth mentioning is that before becoming the branch secretary, Pu Faxing was engaged in transportation in the village and was well-known in the village. Faced with giving up his free and profitable job to become the hard-working branch secretary, his family did not agree. After a fierce ideological struggle, , Pu Faxing convinced his family that since he took office, he had forgotten his own interests and served the people. On March 28, 2007, Pu Faxing died in office due to overwork and illness. He wrote with his life the style of a village party secretary and a leader in the construction of a new countryside in the new era.
