Overview
According to the plot of the film, famous film director Gleb Krylov lives alone in a large apartment in the center of Moscow. His only daughter Olga moved to Spain long ago and is engaged in business. Once upon a time, Gleb Krylov made an autobiographical film about his love during the war for the girl Valentina. She died back in 1943, shortly after their separation... Unexpectedly, many years later, a woman, Vera, appears in Krylov’s life, calling herself the daughter of Gleb and the same Valentina about whom the director’s most famous film was shot. This fact does not at all please Krylov’s own daughter Olga, who is trying in every possible way to protect her father from the impostor. But Gleb believes Vera and takes her in with him. She begins to take care of her father. Meanwhile, Olga organizes surveillance of her new sister, as a result of which it turns out that all Vera’s stories about herself are fiction. Olga accuses Vera of stealing her father's collection of valuable stamps. And Vera has to leave the apartment and the life of Gleb Krylov...
