Overview
Tamás Nyáray's fiancee, Kriszta, has ambitions as a singer, and in her fiancé's absence, she accepts the offer of the director of the Gramofonlemez Vállalat: she sings the latest hit song dressed in a swimsuit in the window of a record store. The jealous groom learns about the sensational event in a newspaper, rushes to the scene and shoots the window. Fortunately, the victim is only a shop window doll, as Kriszta only took on singing due to her fiancé's arrival home that day. The young man is transported to the Hárshegy Mental Hospital. He learns that Kriszta was not injured, that she traveled abroad and made a singing career there. He soon recovers and meets a solid, nice girl, Klári. They are preparing for a wedding when Kriszta appears. He wants to rekindle their old love, but Tamás only loves Klári.
