Overview
This is not the first time that truck driver Don Pedro (Fritz Karl) has traveled to Morocco with a load of Ukrainian garlic. There he takes in refugees in order to smuggle them into Europe, crammed behind the vegetables. The business model of Pedro and his sophisticated shipping partner Jimmy (Karl Markovics) is risky but extremely profitable. The problems begin when a young woman (Clare-Hope Ashitey) refuses to crawl into the truck's cavity like the others. Instead, she sits in the driver's cab with her little son. The destination of her trip is Geneva, where she wants to confront the father of her child, a UN official, with his responsibility. A treacherous journey to Schengenland begins. Customs officers in Tangier, a member of Doctors Without Borders (Wotan Wilke Möhring), an inspector (Francesc Garrido) and a Ukrainian trucker colleague (Jurij Diez) want to be tricked.
